Bore Analysis Report Generator Software
LTC's Bore Analysis Report Generator Software is an add-on program for PCs designed for in-depth analysis and reporting of laser profile date generated by BEMIS™. This software module converts laser scan data from all types of rifle barrels and gun tubes into customized tabular and graphical reports. Features include, but are not limited to:
Land and Groove Diameters
- The diameter at each axial location
- Maximum, minimum and average land and groove diameters
Land and Groove Width
- The width of each land and groove at each axial location
- Maximum, minimum and average data for the land and groove widths
Bore Runout
- A calculation for runout as a function of the nominal center of lands and grooves and rifling symmetry displayed for each axial location
- Groove depth for each axial location
Rifling Twist
- Cumulative Angular Twist
- Twist Rate
- Surface Angle
- Exit Angle
